It's exciting to get a new passport, because for the last couple of weeks, when it was about to expire & then when I'd sent it off, I felt grounded, not that I had any plans for international travel. But now! A couple of years ago I made a vow to leave the country every year & so far I haven't been abroad in 2017. Maybe a weekend in Montreal? Or maybe I'll visit my cousin in Albuquerque & we could drive down to Mexico? Europe for a long weekend is possible too.
